The Grandstream GXW4108 Analog VoIP Gateway is a professional 8-port FXO gateway designed to connect traditional PSTN telephone lines with modern SIP-based IP telephony networks. It is suitable for small and medium businesses, branch offices, hotels, call centers and enterprises seeking reliable integration between conventional telephone infrastructure and VoIP communication systems.

The Grandstream GXW4108 features 8 FXO RJ11 ports, enabling businesses to connect up to eight analog PSTN telephone lines to compatible IP-PBX systems, SIP servers and hosted VoIP platforms. Unlike an FXS gateway, which connects analog telephone devices, the GXW4108 is specifically designed to connect external analog telephone lines to an IP-based communication system.

The gateway supports SIP RFC 3261 and offers flexible call routing, independent SIP account configuration per port and up to two SIP server profiles. It can be integrated with popular IP-PBX solutions, including compatible Asterisk-based systems, to support communication between traditional telephone networks and VoIP users.

For network connectivity, the GXW4108 provides two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports. It supports voice codecs including G.711, G.723, G.726, G.729 and iLBC, along with G.168 echo cancellation and dynamic jitter buffering to help maintain reliable voice quality.

The gateway also supports T.38 Fax-over-IP, caller ID, flexible dial plans, DTMF transmission and automated provisioning. Its compact desktop or wall-mountable design makes it convenient to deploy in offices with limited installation space.
