Product Description

The Dasscom DS-10C Ceiling Speaker is a SIP-enabled 10W network ceiling speaker designed for IP-based public address, paging, background music, and announcement applications. It is suitable for offices, schools, hospitals, commercial buildings, campuses, and other indoor environments where centralized network-based audio communication is required. Dasscom lists the DS-10C as a 10W ceiling speaker with SIP and PoE support, making it suitable for integration into modern IP paging systems.

The DS-10C incorporates a 6-inch speaker with a frequency response of 70Hz–20kHz, average sensitivity of 91dB/1m/1W, and less than 0.1% THD. Its 90° horizontal and 50° vertical coverage pattern is designed to provide broad audio distribution over an area of approximately 30m². The speaker uses a single-channel Class-D amplifier and has a rated power specification of 10W.

As a network speaker, the DS-10C supports SIP communication and network audio codecs including G.722, G.711 A-law, G.711 U-law, and Opus. It provides a 10/100Base-T Ethernet interface and is IEEE 802.3at PoE+ compliant, allowing network connectivity and power to be delivered through Ethernet infrastructure. DHCP and static IP addressing are supported.

The speaker is housed in cold-rolled steel with a textured white epoxy finish and is designed for indoor installation. It supports both surface-mounted and flush-mounted installation, giving integrators flexibility when deploying the speaker in different ceiling environments.
